Preparations for next season are in full swing – the F4 Central European Zone has now unveiled its race calendar for the 2026 championship campaign

The F4 CEZ Championship certified by FIA has established itself as a European intermediate level series, offering single-seater rookies the ideal platform to showcase their talent on some of Europe’s most renowned F1 and MotoGP tracks.
Again, two (or more) Formelaustria Race Academy (FARA) drivers will enter the championship with Renauer Motorsport and compete in the six rounds, each consisting of three races.
The season will kick off at the iconic Red Bull Ring F1 circuit in April, followed by the legendary Salzburgring in May – allowing FARA to celebrate two home events. In June, Slovakia Ring will host round 3 of the championship, before a short summer break in July.
F4 CEZ resumes with a double header in the Czech Republic – at Autodrom Most in August and at Automotodrom Brno in September. The season finale will be held on the newly reconstructed F1 track Hungaroring, which makes a comeback to the calendar after a two-year break.
2026 F4 CEZ Race Calendar:
- April 10–12: Red Bull Ring, Austria
- May 29–31: Salzburgring, Austria
- June 5–7: Slovakia Ring, Slovakia
- July 31–August 2: Most, Czech Republic
- September 11–13: Brno, Czech Republic
- October 23–25: Hungaroring, Hungary
More Collective Tests and Practice Time
To provide the drivers with more track time, four 40-minute paid collective tests will be held before the start of the official sessions on every race weekend. Depending on the timetable, these collective tests will either take place on Thursday or Friday.
The official race weekend will consist of a 40 minute test, a 40 minute free practice session, a 20-minute qualifying and three 25 minute races.
Qualifying Pace Matters More Than Ever
Changes have also been made to how grid positions are determined, placing greater importance on consistent qualifying performance.
- Race 1: Grid based on the fastest qualifying times
- Race 2: Grid based on the drivers’ second-fastest qualifying laps
- Race 3: Grid based on Race 1 results, with top 8 to 12 positions reversed, drawn by lot after Race 1.
The championship will once again feature live-streamed races on YouTube and comprehensive coverage on its official website throughout the season.
