Kalistova returns to F4 testing in style

Formelaustria Young Driver Kristyna Kalistova took the wheel of a Renauer Motorsport F4 car again and showed expected talent

The young Czech driver had not been in a Formula car for nearly a year, before returning to the hot seat at the Pannoniaring last week.

Kalistova improved her lap times from the start of the morning to the end of the afternoon session by an impressive four seconds.

“Kristyna made a good job. She was fully focused as always and also managed to convert our input into better lap times from stint to stint,” team boss Sepp Renauer was content.

Together with Kalistova’s parents, the Formelaustria Young Driver Programme, Austria’s only junior formula driver academy, is now planning the driver’s next career steps.

The Prague-born driver was the fastest female driver for two consecutive years (2022-2023) in the Czech National Karting Championship and the Czech Indoor Kart Championship in 2022.

In 2024, she was selected by More Than Equal, a programme co-founded by former Formula 1 driver David Coulthard and Czech businessman Karel Komárek and aimed to prepare female drivers for higher categories of motorsport.

Later that year, Kristyna also joined the Formelaustria Young Driver Programme for the 2025 racing season.
