On Thursday, this season’s Formelaustria Young Drivers gathered at the HM Sports Headquarters in Vienna to successfully complete their media training, which is part of the programme’s driver development.

Following the theoretical course module held be former Formula One press officer Alexandra Schieren earlier this year, ex-Sky F1 presenter Maren Braun rounded off the drivers’ vocational education with a practice workshop.
In a full-day packed workshop the young talents – Simon Schranz, Hady Mimassi, Marcel Kieser and Luis Moser – have improved their on-camera and interview skills, but also learned how to capitalise on their Social Media channels more.
“It was a lot of information, but it was also great fun. We have certainly learned a lot and I am sure it will help us present ourselves better both in front of the camera and at sponsor events or other receptions,” GT4 driver Moser was confident.
Course instructor Braun was “lovely to be working with this bunch. They are eager and quick learners, which makes my job much easier. It was really delightful and I am looking forward to seeing how they use the knowledge throughout the season.”
While Moser and Kieser will only start their racing campaigns at the end of April, Schranz and Mimassi will get a chance to apply the newly acquired know-how this weekend, when the 2025 F4 CEZ Championship by FIA takes off at the Red Bull Ring.
